I’ve shot
CEO’s & pro athletes, the kind of people with no time to
spare. So I can work fast. I’ve also worked a lot with
starving actors, willing to spend their whole stinking
day in front of a camera. So I can work slowly. But I
guess I enjoy most working with real people and making
them comfortable and believable on camera. My hand held
work is steady...it’s my tripod stuff that tends to be a
bit shaky.
I started
out in this business a long time ago as an editor. The
old fashioned kind--with a guillotine splicing machine
on 16 & 35mm film. So I think I know how to put
together a sequence.
I grew up
in Philadelphia, went to Penn State (did a weekly radio
interview with the legendary JoePa) and have spent the
past 25 years in the Midwest trying to make Hoosiers a
bit more obnoxious. So far I have failed, and I remain
the only obnoxious person in the state.
